Goals

The International Workshop on Accounting and Taxation (IWAT2025) has the following main objectives:

• Disseminate the latest advances in the areas of Accounting and Taxation, with a focus on topics such as financial accounting, sustainability, cybersecurity, and the challenges of digital taxation;
• Enrich the training of students in Accounting and Taxation courses with innovative topics addressed from different perspectives;
• To establish a high-level scientific forum for discussion, research and sharing of experiences and knowledge in the areas of Accounting, Taxation and related areas;
• Promote good practices in the Accounting and Taxation sector, contributing to the enhancement of the national offer;
• To encourage the development of research in Accounting, Taxation and related areas.

In addition, the dissemination of the knowledge shared at the workshop will be strengthened through the European Journal of Applied Business and Management (EJABM).
