FACE-TO-FACE AND ONLINE WORKSHOP
The fourth edition of the International Workshop on Accounting and Taxation (IWAT2025) will take place on April 11, 2025, at ISAG – European Business School, in partnership with the Research Center in Business Sciences and Tourism of the Consuelo Vieira da Costa Foundation (CICET-FCVC).
The previous edition, IWAT2024, is currently under analysis for indexing in major databases, including Business Source Ultimate | EBSCO, Proquest, SCOPUS (Elsevier) and Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), which demonstrates the impact and scientific value of this event.
Given the excellent reception of the last edition, IWAT2025 aims to promote debate on relevant and current topics in the areas of accounting and taxation, such as cybersecurity, digital taxation, cultural sustainability and digital empowerment.
IWAT2025 offers a hybrid experience, allowing face-to-face or virtual participation, and invites the submission of papers in Portuguese, Spanish and English, in two modalities: full paper (short paper/full paper) or extended abstract (extended abstract). All papers will undergo a rigorous peer review process. The abstracts of accepted and registered papers will be published in a book of abstracts to be made available to participants.
The papers presented at the IWAT2025 will also have the opportunity to be sent for publication in the European Journal of Applied Business and Management, currently indexed in databases such as EBSCO, CROSSREF, Google Scholar, Latindex, DRJI, ICI Journals Master List, REDIB and MIAR.
The best accepted and registered full papers written in English, selected by the organising committee, will be invited to be included as chapters in a book to be published by IGI Global! For more details about the book, please consult here. All articles will be subject to a peer review process, and publication is subject to acceptance by the reviewers and the book’s editorial board.
We hope to count on your participation!
